Detoxify Your Skin with an At Home Clay Mask

DSC_0134

FaceTox is probably the most powerful face mask you will ever use. I have tried my hand at making a home made clay mask before, and while it worked well, this kit makes life so much easier! This brand comes from the UK but can be purchased online and shipped to the US. The FaceTox blend mixed with 100% organic rose water binds to your face and starts working straight away as it slowly begins to dry. The benefits to your skin are endless. When the organic rose water is mixed with the FaceTox blend, it creates a negative charge and will;

  •     Prevent and draw out blackheads
  •     Reduce the appearance of scars
  •     Even skin tone
  •     Draw out external toxins
  •     Heal and regenerate skin tissue
  •     Unclog & shrink pores

Works on oily as well as sensitive skin types. 100% Cruelty Free. 100% Organic. No Parabens. Vegan Friendly.

How do I use it?

Step 1 – Make sure you have 1 clay sachet and 1 rose water sachet. Cut along the top of the clay sachet and empty contents into the bowl provided. Cut along the top of the rose water sachet and empty on top of the clay.

Step 2 – Mix the clay and rose water together with a wooden or plastic spoon. Do this until fully mixed together into a smooth paste.

Step 3 – Apply the mask to a clean, dry face. Use the back of the spoon to apply evenly, avoiding eyes, mouth and nostrils. Now wait 30 minutes for the mask to set.

Step 4 – Use warm water and a face cloth to remove the mask. Pat dry and admire your radiant skin.

You will feel a pulling and tightening of the skin as the mask begins to set. You may also occur slight redness after washing off the mask. This is normal and will disappear in about 30 minutes.

The mask takes about 20 minutes to get hard but once it does it is so hard to even open your mouth or move your face. It will also take quite a bit of work to remove all of the clay off of your face so make sure to use a soft wash cloth to get it all off. Once it is removed my face was quite red but it went away. I could already see the black heads on my nose gone and it really felt like the mask was pulling all the dirt, oil and makeup out of my skin!

I love doing a face mask once a week to refresh and renew my skin. I love the fact that this product is cruelty free, organic and vegan friendly too! If you want to make life easy and not a huge mess when it comes to doing clay masks this is a great option. I did receive this product for free to review for my blog. The opinions are my own and for informative purposes. I plan to use the full kit over the next two months and hope that it will help to keep my skin clean and clear!
