Who What Wear Presents Boss Notes Event at Garden State Plaza

Today I was invited to attend a really awesome fashion event held at the Westfield Garden State Plaza. It was called Boss Notes presented by Who What Wear. The event was held in Paramus, New Jersey inside the mall outside of the Neiman Marcus. The event started with an invitation only VIP gathering which included media and bloggers from the tri state area. I was invited to attend and got to mix and mingle with other bloggers and fashionistas over some mimosas and small bites. We got to hang out for an hour before the event moved into an open area of the mall for a panel discussion. Inside the VIP area we got to see some new fashion styles from the Versace 2016 Fall Collection which were beautiful. The white and black pants, blazers and dresses are classic staples to add to any closet. While snapping photos and drinking bubbly we the crowd of attendees for the panel grew. I received a wonderful gift bag which included some jewelry, MAC cosmetics makeup samples, Origin skin care products, a gift card to use in the mall and a cell phone charger.

BossNotes Fashion + Leadership Summit
Panelists included Hillary Kerr (Who What Wear Co-Founder), Arielle Charnas (Fashion Blogger, Something Navy), Danielle Bernstein (Fashion Blogger, We Wore What) and Natalie Suarez (Fashion Blogger, Natalie Off Duty).

Panelists candidly spoke about their career journeys to a crowd of more than 200, emphasizing the panel topic ‘Expedited Success: Getting Where You Want to Be’. The accomplished fashion bloggers discussed how they achieved success under 30, the importance of family and how passion led them to where they are today.

I brought my gal pal Jenn along since she is a true fashionista herself and we had some fun catching up and enjoyed a lunch after at Capitol Grill. The event had a great turn out of girls who were looking forward to meeting and hearing from some of their favorite fashion bloggers. There were lots of tables set up of stores in the mall like MAC cosmetics, Dry Bar and Neiman Marcus. They also had designs set up on mannequins from upcoming graduates of FIT in NYC. The designers were there to showcase their senior design projects and they all were stunning!

How can you resist a bubbly mimosa on a Saturday afternoon?!

All around the mall area they had styles tables set up with clothing including a complimentary make up look from MAC. I loved this black motorcycle jacket!

I wore a super comfy turtleneck midi dress. These are my go to dresses because they are easy and classic. I paired this dress with some suede booties from Nine West. My bag is a find I picked up at TJ Maxx with some gold buckle detail and a removable strap. This outfit is so simple and the entire look was under $100!

There were tons of different area set up with displays like this one from Versace for their new collection for fall 2016. Isn’t that white bag to die for?!

Here are some quick videos that I took on my phone for my Snapchat from today’s event which was so much fun. It’s always great to be a part of events like this that bring other bloggers together to share tips and stories. I love learning from other ladies in the industry who also have blogs and are chasing their passions.
