4 Health and Beauty Items That You Need To Replace ASAP

Reinvigorate and revive your health and beauty routine by making the following four easy replacements

Replace face wipes with face wash

After a long and stressful day, it can be so tempting just to remove our makeup with a face wipe. However, these are almost never as effective as an actual face wash. With a wipe, you might miss sections. You also might rub the skin too hard to remove tough marks, causing damage. This article even suggest that using wipes can wreck your looks! http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2582298/Will-cleansing-wipes-wreck-looks.html

Take a few minutes to use a face wash instead. Even better is a full cleansing routine, with toner and moisturizer too. But if you are too pressed for time, at least wash your face with a cleanser and warm water. It’s the least you can do; you only get one face!

Replace a normal toothbrush with an electric toothbrush

Normal toothbrushes don’t really stand a chance when you pit them against electric ones. Put it this way; you’d be hard to find a Dentist who didn’t use an electric version. They have more strength and power to attack deep-set food and debris. Oral hygiene should be a priority for you, and that means that so should what you use to clean your teeth and gums. There are reputable online companies that you can order electric toothbrushes from http://toothbrushman.com/. Figure out what your priorities are, and then go from there when it comes to picking one.

Replace a feather pillow with a memory foam pillow

Health and beauty are also to do with your posture and how you hold yourself. If your neck is crooked or badly supported at night, this will affect the rest of your body. The following day sore muscles could mean you are walking with a hunch. Or, you might be using a computer or typing in a way that will give you RSI. This feature will help you check if you have RSI, or are at risk. Throw out that old, cheap feather pillow that you’ve had for five years and replace it with a memory foam one instead. This material molds to the shape of your head, and the bounces back and remolds when you move. You might want to check firmness levels, though. Some will prefer a nice hard one while others will want a softer version. Go in-store and try them out in person if possible. http://home.bt.com/lifestyle/wellbeing/do-you-have-rsi-check-the-signs-and-symptoms-of-repetitive-strain-injury-11364034461597

Replace dirty makeup brushes with clean ones

Makeup brushes are super useful and can make a big difference to the finished result. Finding the right ones, however, can take some time. I personally go for Sigma makeup brushes, MAC makeup brushes or Tarte Cosmetics brushes. Those are all high quality.

Once we find the right one for us, we are loading it up with products every day. These liquids and powders build up over time. As the amount of product left-over starts to grow, so does the amount of bacteria! Washing your makeup brushes with soap and water just won’t do, sadly. In fact, doing this can cause even more bacteria to build up. There are special solutions out there which do a good job of cleaning makeup brushes effectively. This article discusses how often you need to be washing yours. However, these solutions are often very costly. It may be cheaper just to replace your brushes instead. Using dirty ones can cause breakouts and spots; not what you want!
