Maple Holistics Natural Products Review and Giveaway

Get rid of your winter blues with yet another amazing giveaway here on www.JerseyGirlTalk.com – I am very excited about this particular giveaway because it is from a brand I love and already shop with. A few weeks ago I posted about how much I was loving my new shampoo and conditioner regiment from Maple Holistics. Their products are easily found on Amazon, which is where I found them when I was looking for a shampoo for oily hair from my daily workouts. After posting my review on their hair care line (which you can read here) someone from their team reached out to discuss me doing another review and I of course also wanted to see if I could get some extra items to do a giveaway for all of you – which they said sure! So this post is two fold; a review of some of their new beauty items that I have been testing out and loving and a giveaway for my readers which is below on the bottom of this article.

*Disclaimer – I did receive these two products for free in exchange for an open & honest review. I was not compensated to speak positively about the brand, just trying out product and sharing my opinions

Vitamin C Anti-Aging Serum

First let’s talk about the Vitamin C Serum. If you read my previous skin care routine post, I have been using a Vitamin C Serum in the morning as part of my beauty routine. I was excited to try this product out from Maple Holistics because it’s already something I truly believe in adding to your daily skin care mix. For me I wash my face, pat it dry then add 1 drop of Vitamin C Serum and a small amount of Acure Organics Oil Control Moisturizer. I mix these two together in the palm of my hand and then gently pat all over my skin and neck and chest area everyday.

What I noticed right away about this Vitamin C Serum is the color is a yellowish and the bottle is amber. Both of these indicate the serum is a great quality and that the ingredients need to be in amber to prevent sun light from damaging their potency. The serum is also a thicker consistency that then serum I had been using, which to me just speaks better quality. It goes on very smooth and the balance of moisture from the serum and the oil control lotion are a perfect combination for someone with oil, acne prone skin. Having both of these as part of my “pre makeup application” routine have truly helped my skin feel soft, smooth and less oily. The key to managing oily skin is to make sure it is really hydrated and moisturized. Don’t be afraid to use creams and serums thinking it will make your skin feel oily, it will actually tell your skin it has enough moisture and doesn’t need to create any more (oil).

You can’t go wrong with this price for a really good Vitamin C Serum. Most online start at around $25-$65 dollars, but this brand is super affordable. Their products are organic and natural which is always a huge plus in my beauty book! Why should you use a Vitamin C Serum? Vitamin C Facial Serums are an anti-aging premium which takes the traditional concept of topically applying Vitamin C and provides a boost of therapeutic ingredients to maximize effectiveness and sustainability. The superior anti-aging benefits of the serum can help correct the fallacies of aging skin to result in a toned, youthful and healthy face. It is never too early to take care of your skin and keeping it looking its very best.

100% Pure Dead Sea Mud Mask with Essential Oils

The second product I received was the Maple Holistics Pure Dead Sea Mud Mask. I have to say that masks are my new favorite weekly beauty treat. I usually do a mask every Sunday, soaking in a nice warm tub as a way to relax, destress and really give my skin a deep cleansing. After a long week of makeup wearing, stress and sweating in the gym it’s nice to put a mask on and let it remove everything. Most masks cost a pretty penny but this one is under $13 and is similar to some of the more expensive mud masks you will find in Sephora or Ulta.

The mask is a dark color, almost black but when you put it on the skin is looks like a dark green color. To use this I started with a freshly washed face using my current go to cleanser and let it air dry. Then with my fingers I applied the mask all over my skin in short motions, avoiding the delicate eye area and mouth area. The mask felt cool and refreshing on my skin. I then got in the tub to soak and allowed the mask 15 minutes to set in. When it starts to dry it will change to a bit lighter color and harden. After 15 minutes you can rinse it off with luke warm water and then apply your favorite nightly moisturizing cream. This mask does not pulsate or tingle on the skin. It definitely left my skin feeling clean, refreshed and not tight. I plan to use this as a part of my weekly beauty routine for months to come, especially with winter approaching.

  1. This grouping looks fantastic! We just moved out east and I find my skin has become SO dry and dull even as fall progresses, let alone what is going to happen this winter 🙁

  2. I work at a salon that stocks bumble and bumble, while the shampoos are great they are not cruelty free so I would love to try this!

  3. I’m so genuinely curious to try this brand! I’m always looking in to all natural brands because I try to avoid putting excess chemicals on my skin and scalp. I currently use Alba Botanica line of products but I will be checking this one out on Amazon. Thank you!

  4. These look awesome!!!! My hair and skin get really dry in the winter, so any help it can get is good!! Love the idea of putting on the mask before a relaxing bath. I’m trying to find better was to relax and de-stress than spening hours on Pinterest. A nice bath and refreshing mask sounds good to me!!

  5. Oh the hair care would be wonderful to help with my dry and static problems in the cold winter months! I love that it helps your dry scalp!
