Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Ice Cream Recipe

I scream, You scream – we all scream for protein ice cream!

I have to say that ice cream is a huge weakness of mine but when I started to make recipes using protein powder it made this guilty pleasure so much better! Not only does protein ice cream take so little time to make and prepare, but it is high in protein and low in fat/sugar unlike traditional bowls of ice cream made with milk and sugar. To make this all you need is some of your favorite chocolate protein powder, some sliced almonds, greek non fat plain yogurt and almond milk (and a freezer and glass bowl of course!)

Ingredients:

♥1 scoop of Chocolate Protizyme Metabolic Nutrition Protein Powder – buy here

♥1/4 cup of almond milk unsweetened (vanilla or regular)

♥1 cup of non fat greek plain yogurt

♥sliced raw almonds for topping

How to make:

→In a small bowl or container: mix 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder with 1/4 cup of almond milk and 1 cup/container of greek yogurt

Whip the mix until it looks like a mousse

Place in a glass so that it can get really cold and frosted

Put in the freezer for 15-20 minutes

Remove and add some almonds on top then enjoy!

This is a high protein treat and if you follow IIFYM this is even better to help you meet your daily protein macro. With the protein and the yogurt you get over 35 grams of protein in one bowl!
