Summer Workout Challenge – BodyBoss Fitness Guide Review
Recently I was looking for a new fitness program or guide to follow. I was tired of having to come up with my own workout routine, writing it down and then figuring out what to do to progress week after week. As many of you may know I have created a few workouts which I have shared on my site, which I love doing, but I was really looking for something I could do with all the planning done for me – enter BodyBoss! I had received a link to test out the program and spend some time with the Ultimate Body Fitness Guide by BodyBoss and wanted to share it with all of you. I had seen before and after photos of girls doing the program all over social media, so I have to admit I was curious.
Now that summer is slowly winding down I am definitely ready to kick my workouts into high gear. This post is a recap of the BodyBoss program that I have been doing and review of the system. I’ve been working out hard the last few months to get back on track and this has surely helped to keep me motivated and accountable.
What is the BodyBoss Ultimate Body Guide?
24 minutes a day, 3 times a week is all it takes
BodyBoss is a workout program that is extremely popular online. It is an easy to follow, step by step training program for women. It is a 3 month, or 12 week, routine that helps you to achieve great results no matter where you are in your fitness journey. It focuses on high intensity, interval style workouts that are completed in under 25 minutes. You will achieve calorie burn, fat burn and overall sculpting. With the program you also get a free 4 week pre-training program to get your body ready for the main program.
The interactive fitness guide will show you with GIFS on how to do each exercise. You can open up the workout for the day on your phone or iPad but I would highly recommend the printed edition!
The BodyBoss Method is a fun and challenging high intensity workout that you can do for just 24 minutes, 3 times a week! Just knowing that everyday there is a routine waiting for me takes so much thought out of my planning. I have so much other stuff in life going on and BodyBoss just makes life so much easier and stress free.
- The training program consists of 4 cycles of 3 weeks in increasing intensity, designed to help you reach optimal performance, power, fitness and fat burning.
Why it works & Why I like it:
The constant change in exercises and intervals is the key to the BodyBoss success, unlocking the #BossEffect so you continue to burn fat long after your workout
- BodyBoss workouts deliver big results in a short amount of time
- No more expensive annual gym contracts or subscriptions
- There’s minimal fitness equipment needed, and no expensive gym memberships or tricky apps
- After completing a BodyBoss workout, you’ll continue to burn calories for hours as the body completes a range of functions to recover from the intense exercise
My Results & Thoughts:
Strength, Size, Stamina! While doing the program I was looking to lean out, remain strong, see more defined cuts in my muscle and build stamina. I achieved ALL of these goals while doing this program. I was able to drop 2 pounds (I am only 112 so my goal was not to lose a ton of weight, just to lean out and keep my size), remain in my target body fat range of 14-15% and I was able to really increase my overall endurance with these HIIT workouts. I was able to get a great sweat going and be slightly out of breath in a short amount of time.
It also worked really well with my busy work schedule; whether I wanted to work out before heading into the office or even after work, I knew I didn’t have to dedicate a ton of time in the gym. I would take my time with the workouts and stay for about 30-45 minutes but you can certainly get them done much faster.
