Get ready for all things fall with DuClaw Brewing Company Pumpkin flavored ales and brews! Perfect for football Sundays, tail gating, entertaining or using in some of your favorite fall recipes. When their team reached out and asked if I would be interested in making a recipe with some of the pumpkin flavored ales, I have to admit I was a bit stumped. I had never cooked with beer before and tried to ponder how I could make healthy and delicious recipe with this product, but I was not easily defeated.

Pumpkin flavor is everywhere right now; from lattes to donuts to soups. I was really excited to take on this challenge and the resulting recipe is truly tasty and great for fall gatherings with friends. I hope that you will make it and then let me know what you think. You are free to substitute brands but I would not substitute the amounts as I did make this bread a few times to get it just right.

This bread comes out really moist  and you can taste the pumpkin flavor through and through but with a little bite to it.  To make you will preheat your oven to 350 degrees and have a bread pan that you will spray with olive oil spray so the bread does not stick to the tin. I like to use the disposable bread tins since you can just throw them away after without having to clean it.

This bread was mixed using my Kitchen Aid mixer which I received as a gift from my bridal and I am in love with it! I got the brown one to match my kitchen cabinets and this mixer is so great for making cakes, cookies, breads and cupcakes.

You will bake the bread at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Check the center of the bread with a toothpick at one hour and make sure the toothpick comes out clean. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes, then slowly cut with a butter knife around the edges to loosen the bread from the sides of the tin. On a cutting board, flip the bread tin over and allow the bread to fall out. Then flip over when it is out of the tin and then use a large knife to cut into slices and enjoy!

When the bread was finished everyone who was over my house enjoyed it! The left over beer that we were given did not go to waste at all – everyone loved the pumpkin ale and lager from DuClaw Brewing Company and said it tasted great. If you love fall inspired brews then I would suggest keeping an eye out for their products in your liquor store, I have started to see them showing up in the ones near me in Northern New Jersey.
