Protein Pancakes Recipe Easy & Fast

Today was a huge snow storm here in New Jersey which dumped us with over a foot of snow near me. This meant that I was going to work from home and decided to treat myself to a batch of protein pancakes! I don’t normally have enough time to make these so today I was eager to get these bad boys on the plate and in my belly! The best way to make them if you aren’t too cook at “from scratch” recipe making is to use a whole wheat pre made mix and then add a scoop of protein to the mix. Today I decided to do that since it would be quick and easy with less clean up to do. I used this Wheat & Honey pancake mix by Krusteaz and a scoop of Vanilla Dream protein powder by VPX Sports called Zero Carb SRO. I used 1/2 cup of the pancake mix and 1 scoop of the protein powder. I then added some water until the mix was not too thick but not too thin. I then used a non stick pan and sprayed it with extra virgin olive oil lightly. The best thing to do is heat up the pan first then add the mix. Sometimes people add the batter right after they turn the burner on, but I prefer to wait so they cooking begins quickly when the batter is added. I made two large pancakes with this mix but you can always make a few smaller ones. These came out absolutely delicious and fluffy! To top them I used Walden Farms pancake syrup which is fat free, calorie free, carb free and sugar free!

The nutritional information is below which was put in www.MyFitnessPal.com
